Q: Who is eligible for POST-ICECAP?

A: 

  • Age ≥ 18 years 
  • Coma after resuscitation from OHCA
  • Patients who were either screened or enrolled in the ICECAP trial
  • Received targeted temperature management
  • Patient survived to 1 month
  • Signed ICF by a patient or an authorized representative

 

Q: What is the definition of “Received targeted temperature management” in the inclusion criteria? 

AutoBOOST

AutoBOOST is a BOOST-3 ancillary study under a separate grant. The study looks at machine learning analytics of heart rate variability on the Moberg collected waveforms as predictors of other parameters thought to be related to cerebrovascular reactivity and outcome.

  • There are no additional contracts.

Intensivists Working Group

The mission of the Intensivist Investigator Working Group is to provide a forum for SIREN investigators and trainees who practice intensive care to: 1) provide feedback on SIREN trial proposals and ideas in the pipeline, 2) discuss and develop new ideas for SIREN trials and ancillary studies, and 3) promote academic collaboration for publication and dissemination.

 

Human Subjects Protection Working Group

The mission of the Human Subjects Protection Working Group (HSP) is to help advance research efforts in the SIREN Network while keeping the human research participants’ interests, rights, justice, and wellbeing at the forefront. The group advocates for human research participant welfare, and to maintain ethical standards in clinical trials. HSP also has an interest in fostering opportunities to better participants’ experience in research; as well as LARs, families, and clinical treating teams.
